Just saw underworld: evolution. IMHO it was a pretty good movie. The low points, for me, were the few scenes that had nudity in them. About 15 mins into the film, the 2 main characters have a brief sex scene which to me was kinda misplaced and really unnessesary. Then later you see this other vampire having a 3-some with 2 vampire girls, again really not needed. The other low points is when they said Jesus Christ, like in the wrong way. I simply phased out the other curse words wich I'm glad to say there werent many. It seemed they somewhat improved on the werewolves, but not that much. They didnt play a center role in this movie as the first one. They only had one main werewolf and he was kinda cool looking but you just didnt get to see much of him. This movie was really more about the vampires and the "hybrids" than anything else. And though there was a good amount of fighting and such, most of it was not hand to hand. But everything else was pretty good. You really didnt need to know that much about the first movie to watch this one. Lots of action, explosions and vampire killing goodness.
The movie was for 10:30 and I left work at around 9:40 so I had a good wait. While I sat in the theater I couldnt help but think about a few things. I started to think more about Kristina and such, how I wouldn't see her for so long when she leaves. I know thats gonna be in like a year or so but even so, I still have feelings for her (though it will probably stay just like that: feelings). I started thinking like I'd never see her again or at least for a long time and that made me feel kinda sad. I actually started to tear up a bit, but then I talked myself out of it. No big deal right? Yeah, no big deal.....
